1. Payment: Payment must be made by the specified due dates to secure the student’s place within the programme 

2. Refunds: Refunds will not be provided for missed sessions. There will be a catch-up 

video and/or podcast recording available for one week after the sessions.

3. Participation: Your child is encouraged to actively participate in all the live sessions.

4. Code of Conduct: Students are expected to adhere to the Amplex code of conduct during the

Welcome to Amplex Youth Empowerment Programme! These Terms and Conditions outline the 

rules and regulations governing the student’s participation in our year-long programme. 

By enrolling in our programme, the student agrees to abide by these terms and conditions.

2. Mission

2.1 Mission: Empowering Young Minds, Shaping Tomorrow’s Leaders

At Amplex, our mission is to empower young minds on a journey of personal development. 

We aim to nurture critical thinking skills and inspire them to become influential leaders within their 

communities. Our platform offers practical wisdom and real-world knowledge beyond classroom 

education.

3. Programme Overview

3.1 Duration

The Amplex Youth Empowerment Programme is a year-long event consisting of 32 sessions. The 

sessions take place every Thursday evening, starting from 6 February 2025    until 30October 2025.

No sessions will take place on public-school holidays.

Payment Policy

3.2 Payment Options

To access the programme, a non-refundable registration fee of R150.00 is payable by all applicants to reserve a seat

Should an applicant whish to cancel their application, cancellation of such application must be communicated to the administrative department on or before 21 January 2025.

Once the applicant receives confirmation of their enrolment in the programme, students have two payment options available:

1. . Monthly Payment Plan: R800 per month for 9 months (February-October); or 

2. Annual Payment Plan: R6,400 for the entire year.

Take Note: A 10% administrative penalty fee will be imposed on all outstanding annual fees remaining unpaid for more than 30 days. If no payment is received within 30 days after the month of attendance, the member will be temporarily expelled until outstanding payments are settled.

4. Participation Requirements

4.1 Eligibility

Participation in the programme is open to students from participating schools in Pretoria, 

specifically catering to grade 9-12 learners.

• Grade 12 learners should be aware that the course extends until October 31st.

4.2 Registration

To enrol in the programme, students must complete the registration process and select a 

payment plan. To secure enrolment, the registration form must be completed, along with the payment of the non-refundable registration fee of R150.00.

• Registrations operate on a first-come, first-served basis. Once the maximum capacity is 

reached, no further applications will be accepted.

· In the event of an applicant making payment of the R150.00 registration fee and the programme already having reached maximum capacity, Amplex undertake to refund such unsuccessful applicant. 

4.3 Attendance

Participants are encouraged to attend all 32 sessions to maximise the benefits of the programme. 

However, we understand that conflicts may arise. It is the responsibility of the student to notify admin@amplex.co.za in advance should he/she be unable to attend a session and arrange for a catch-up recording of the session.

. Alternative plans will be made in either podcast or video formats.

5. Programme Details

5.1 Sessions

The programme consists of 32 sessions throughout the year, featuring guest speakers and 

practical knowledge sharing.

5.2 Schedule

The schedule of sessions may evolve to accommodate changes in speakers and educational 

needs. We will provide updates to participants as necessary .

7. Code of Conduct

Participants are expected to conduct themselves respectfully during all programme sessions and 

events. Any disruptive or inappropriate behaviour may result in removal from the programme with 

a refund proportionate to the attendance up to date. 

8. Liability

Amplex will not and cannot be held responsible for any personal injury, loss, or damage to the student or the student’s personal belongings that may occur during the sessions.

9. Privacy

We respect your privacy. Your personal information will be used solely for programme-related 

communications and will not be shared with third parties without your prior consent. We undertake to fully comply with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 and any relation regulations and provisions, during and after the subsistence of the programme. 

10. Termination

Amplex reserves the right to terminate a participant’s enrolment in the programme due to 

violations of these terms and conditions.

11. Changes to Terms and Conditions

We  reserve our rights to  update these terms and conditions as needed. We undertake to duly notify all participants of such changes, updates, variations, and amendments.
